Hello fabulous women! I am looking for "the one". I need a hairstylist who can work magic with my ridiculously fine, straight hair. My style aesthetic is edgy but not extreme and I'm currently in a short (chin length) hair phase. I'd like to find someone in the Bellevue/Kirkland/Redmond/Issaquah area but willing to travel a bit further if you can refer me to "the one". Also would like to keep the cost of a cut (the cut itself w/o tip) at or below $65 but again, if you really have "the one" I'll pay more for true magic.

I also have fine, straight hair. Try someone at the Obadiah salon in Bellevue. Also, GEM salon at Carillon Point has good stylists. These are pricey salons, but often have cheaper stylists as well as the high end ones. Hope that helps! Good luck!
Denae at Gene Juarez Salon, Bellevue Galleria. I've been going to her for years. Awesome stylist. She worked with me following my craniotomy, grow-out, scars, etc. I've seen what she has done with her other clients, totally fantastic!

I just moved to the area and needed my first haircut. I called Obadiah Salon in downtown Bellevue, and they recommended Kari Jennings for fine hair. She followed a style I already had, but the cut has a lot of texture and lift.

Hi J.: I also have fine, straight hair! UGHH! I've been going to my stylist for almost 15 yrs & she is AMAZING!! I've dyed my hair every color under the sun & have had my hair at every length. Her name is Lori Sutcliffe, and she is the owner and head stylist of Lolo's Hair Design. It's her and one other girl (Michelle), and it's a very personlized experience. For being in downtown, her prices are ridiculously inexpensive!!! Definitely less than $65 for a hair cut. I get a cut and a color for less than $140.

Magic comes with those who have experience... I have been using my girl for over ten years and anyone who I have referred to her loves her. She is in Kirkland off the 85th street exit and has her own beautiful and professional salon connected to her house and she is the only stylist there so there is privacy and not the extra noise and smells. She also has reasonable rates for a haircut ... $50.00 and that includes my tip I give her... $100.00 for cut and color. She works 4-5 days a week and by appt. only.
