Hi. I've been seeing a great hair stylist in McKinney, but it's just getting too far to drive over there with all the traffic. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a great hairdresser who cuts and colors really well? I would love for them to be nearby in Frisco, so that I wouldn't need to drive too far. I would also prefer someone who rents his/her own space out of a salon rather than an in-home or mega salon. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your time!

I have been going to Amber McMurray in the Salon Suite in Frisco..it is on Gaylord Drive Right behind Target. She does a great job...I get compliments on my hair all the time! She also does fabulous color and highlights. Not to mention she is one of the sweetest persons I have ever met!!! Her number is ###-###-####. Best of luck....I know you will love her...I do!!!
You have to try Dena Heckadon in the Salon Boutique in Frisco. The Salon Boutique is not a mega-salon, it is a bunch of independant stylist that own smaller salon rooms. She has been fantastic with my hair (cut and color/highlights) also does my brows. Always listens to what I want. She has a fantastic personality, truely the best I've been to! I go to Nash at Jump, Jive & Wail on Main Street in Frisco. He is actually one of the owners. He does a great job. The salon is small, but fun. Hope this helps! A.

I would like to recommend 2 ladies that work out of a small shop in Prosper, just a few miles north of Frisco. The shop is called Hair Masters. My mom has had the owner (Myra) cut her hair for over 15 years. Personally, I'm not so impress with her work, but she has two employees that I feel good about recommending - Jaime Miller and Tina Small. Jaime is their most days, Tina just on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Their cuts are SOOOO reasonable - $17. Not sure how much coloring costs, I don't get that done, but I would guess it is reasonably priced as well.
