Need Great Dentist/oral Surgeon -- Downtown Chicago

I am 26 and the first to admit that I am a total WIMP when it comes to dentists and doctors. I just FINALLY got my dental insurance and am eager to get some serious work done on my teeth--I am sure I will have some cavities etc. and will need all four of my wisdom teeth out ASAP...I have been turned down before by an oral surgeon who said one of my wisdom teeth is very close to my nerve; he was concerned about hitting it and causing permanent damage...I am VERY nervous but know it needs to be done...I am looking for a recommendation for both a gentle and understanding dentist--especially since its been a while since I've had a cleaning :)--as well as an oral surgeon (being GREAT at what he/she does is more important in this department than bedside manner :))
I am in downtown Chicago...looking for something close to the loop/west loop. Thanks in advance for great recommendations!

Dr. Eli Lawrence is WONDERFUL. He was recommended to me as a Dentist who is familiar with working with "anxious" patients....When I first came to him I needed some serious dental work and was able to go through it with no problems. He is located in the 25 E. Washington Building, 12th floor. (So sorry I don't have his # here with me at work today)
Good luck!

When I lived in the city we went to Robert Deaver, DDS at 55 E Washington St. 60602. Phone ###-###-####. My husband still goes since he works down there. It was too inconvient for me though to still go now that we are in the burbs. He was really good, I had cleanings, cavities filled and a crown placed and never had any problems or discomfort.
