Hi Mom's, I'm trying to make those adorable, and WARM "no sew" fleece blankets that tie around the edges for my daughter's soccer team and wanted to know if anyone knew where I could find a good price on the fleece soccer print fabric. I'm trying to get the colors of royal blue and black, but I think at this point I won't be too picky. I tried to look online but did not have much luck. I also tried to visit all the local fabric stores like Joanns', Hobby Lobby, etc., but everyone seemed to be clearanced out or not carrying the print at all. Any sugeestions would be helpful!!
Before Christmas I saw what you are looking for at Hancock's Fabrics in Lewisville. It's hit or miss whether or not you'll find it on sale. Good luck!
I purchased mine at Hancock Fabrics. They have all kinds of fleece material....and I for sure know on the soccer print because I made some no sew pillows with it:)
Try Hancock.com they have a lot of stuff on line that is not in the stores.

Walmart and JoAnns is where I usually find what I am looking for. But when those two fail me, I hit google. Which I just did and put in "Soccer Print Fleece fabric" Came back with 141,000 hits. Hancock fabric was one that was listed.

Sounds like you got alot of ideas. My daughter's was the very exact colors you are wanting (although probably about 10 years ago ..haha! It was probably walmarts at the time but I have since made many for other events (i.e. her high school graduation for fun) and they were awesome ...both JoAnn's and Hancock have a great selections and always on sale ... just call in advance for what you are looking for. Another special thing I did with my daughter's was to have it embroidered depending on what the blanket was for. For Soccer I think I put her first name and year ...however, for graduation I put a wonderful scripture and my pet name for her and Graduation 08. These are wonderful gifts and great blankets I have made for friends and family ...the only person I am missing is me ...they are so warm and cozy as you said, that I definitely need one. I also had made her an Eeyore one (she loved it) along with a pillow cover.

Have you tried Walmart? I know the one close to us seems to have a good selection. I can't give you specifics though, I haven't looked at them.
