I am the team mom for my daughter's softball team and need some inexpensive coaches' gift ideas. We have four men that have coached so I can't spend much. Any ideas?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I am going to get softballs for them to sign with a purple sharpie (our colors are purple and yellow) and I found some glass tealight candle holders that make really nice pedestals for the balls. Thanks for all the help!

Go to any trophy shop. We use Star Awards in New Braunfels. They have many choices and their prices are great.

We asked all parents to pitch in, except the Coachs' families and bought them "Thank You" plaques with the Team's name, League and Season Date/Year. If a plaque isn't what you are wanting, check their paper weights, which can be engraved.

You can make them a T-shirt with the team name and all of the kids Hand prints and/or signatures on it. I did the a couple of years ago. admittedly it was for women coaches but they enjoyed it. May do the same with baseball caps. You can find them pretty cheap at craft stores like Hobby Lobby or Micheal,s. The paint is pretty cheap too. I hope this helps.

Collect 3 dollars from each girl and buy each coach a $10 gift certificate from a manly man place to eat, include a team photo.

I did a little google search, and found this to be unique and a great idea. www.coachgift.org This may possilbly require a little time, or maybe you could send a quick e-mail to the other parents. Asking your team sponsor may work as well. Good luck!

How about buying a tshirt and letting each kid put a handprint on it (with fabric paint)? You could also have some lettering put on each one that says something cute like, thank's for touching our lives.
