Need Child Care for 2 Boys

I am a full time student at UTA and will start student teaching in Euless on Jan. 3rd. My husband is in the Marine Corps so we are not on that great of a budget, but are willing to pay what we need to get the best childcare for our 2 baby boys! We have a 27 month old very active boy and a 7 month old boy. My oldest is having trouble with his speech, but is very intellegent and knows what he wants. It can get a little frustrating, but my mom and I are the only ones who have kept him his whole life. My mom has been keeping both of them since they were born, but we are needing to make changes this year. I believe she is willing to watch them until I can find childcare, but she will not be able to be a permanent provider for much longer due to a car wreck. I'm not sure what I prefer more: inhome child care or a child care center. I have heard great things about children's courtyard, primrose, and kindercare, but I dont have a clue about how much they cost???? If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated!! I will be driving from Arlington to Euless everyday, so I cant really go much further out of the way. Thanks so much in advance!!

I understand your concerns and wanting a safe, learning environment for your children. I had my son in a program and
pulled him out after finding out they would put him in isolation for 3 hours for something they didn't see him do. The Childcare centers will only tell you things they have too.

So I now am a SAHM and have a Home Childcare so they can learn and grow with other children. I have a low ratio and I am sure your son would have a great time with my son who just turned 3 and sure he would even learn more words.

We do learning activities, arts n crafts, music
and have fun while we learn. My nephew who is 15 now has had a speech and hearing problem since he was born and I have helped
him learn and he now can talk and hear quit well. So, I understand some children need more help.

hi A.,

My name is C. White and I am a former elementary teacher now living in the Keller/Ft.Worth area. best of luck with your student teacihng semester, it's crazy but you'll make it through!!! I am now doing licensed by state in home child care from my home while my husband and I begin a family of our own and currently have two spots available. I keep my ratios very very low and provide truly high quality care. Other than word of mouth and mamasource I'm not doing any big advertising because I'm really looking for parents seeking high quality care and not just "cheaper" care (which is what many people think of when they think of at home child care). As I said before I currently have two spots available, if you would like more info (ex: rates, my resume, references, etc.) simply send me and email to the address bellow and i will attach and send you more info about the child care i provide, or you can just give me a call whatever's easiet for you. I am located near the intersection of N Beach St. and Basswood Blvd.

as for other recomendations, primrose schools are fabulous but pricey! they have excellent programs for all developmetal ages and constantly have special visitors and programs they provide for the kidos (ex: music specialists, gymnastics, puppet shows, etc.). i recomend them if you decide a center is best for your family.

best wishes in your search for great child care!

god bless,
C. white

I just wanted to write and tell you that my son is of about the same age as your oldest one and I had him at home for most part of his early life, later I took him to a Kindercare and had a very bad experience not to say that all of them are the same. If you want your child to learn more and get a great experience since this is their first time in an outside setting please look and look well make sure it is safe, I would hate for you to go through the same thing I did, I do not mean to scare you, just wanting to watch out for you. Research about the daycare and give them suprise visits once you get your kids settled at your place of choice.

All the best, Children are precious and they deserve nothing but the best care.
