Need Baby Shower Location..HELP

Help! I'm trying to find a location to host a baby shower. The guest list is about 30 people and the mother-to-be is pretty low-key. Nothing to fancy or showy. I'm willing to do either a restaurant with a private room, or just a venue that I can bring in my own food. Any suggestions?? Most of the guests live in the North Garland/Plano/Richardson area, so nothing too far from that.

Thanks!

Your local rec center probably rents out their rooms at a decent price or you can ask your guests if they have access to an HOA clubhouse

Into my Garden tea room in Plano is great. http://www.intomygarden.com/
It is located inside a really neat shop called "Nooks and Krannies Gift Shop" that is in downtown plano on East 15th St (east of 75).
I have hosted 3 different baby showers here and have always had great success. Good luck!

I second Into my Garden Tea Room on 15th street in Plano! I have not been to a baby shower there, but all the women in my family gather there every year at winter time to have tea - it is tradition. It has just the best atmosphere! The service is great, the food is awesome, and it is just so cute! The store connected is just precious - it has everything from unique children's toys and gifts, baby items, collector's figurines, and even a "nursery" filled with baby dolls! If you have children in the party, they make them feel special with their own little set up, hat, necklace, books on tea manners - the works! And the street it is on is precious - it is on 15th street, which is on old downtown Plano - it is the street with the brick road, and there are so many cute shops on it that you could make a day of it! If you go to their website they have different menus they offer http://www.intomygarden.com

Chocolate Angel on Campbell has a private room. Great place for a luncheon.
