Highly unlikely with a tubal ligation and birth control pill. The symptoms you're having could be from the pill, pms, or any number of things. Take a test if it's negative I wouldn't worry about it anymore.

About a year after my tubal ligation, I experienced these same symptoms. Turned out to be a tubal pregnancy. You need to see your doctor immediately. This is something that needs to be treated as soon as possible. Good luck!

Pregnancy symptoms can be side effects from birth control pills or normal hormonal changes. Read your patient info or ask your dr/pharmacist.

Hello C.. I had my tubes tied in 2008. Well then the begining of this year I started having all the sytoms of being pregnant. I didnt have my periods and i was sick and everything. I called my doctor and they put me on some medication to get my hormones back in order. I feel great and I am not pregnant. Its good that you are seeing a doctor. Your birth control may play a big part in all of this. Keep positive. Let me know how your doctor appointment turns out.

Definately consult your doctor. My OBGYN said tubals are only 80% effective and increase your risk of having a tubal pregnancy. I hope everything turns out okay for you.

I have heard of tubal ligations growing back. The pill fails. I would take a test.

Kids can be very demanding. However they grow so fast. Try to enjoy this time (easier said than done). Know it is only a stage soon they will be more independant of you. Pray for an increase in love. They won't be 5 and 6 forever. If you ask for more love to welcome this new baby if you are indeed pregant, you will get it. Ask for and increase in love for your existing family as well.

I thought when you got a tubal ligation that kept you from having children and you are taking birth control that may be causing your problems I would check with your doctor cause something is not right

I had tubal done and began experiencing those symptoms about 6 months afterwards. I took two pregnancy tests and both were negative. It turned out I had an extreme case of polycytsic ovarian and had 18 cysts on one ovary and my ovary was the size of a golf ball. I had to have a hysterectomy about a month later (I was 25).I would see your doctor.

It could be very possible. I would take a pregnancy test and see what it comes up with and if i ti s negative wait another couple weeks2-4 and if you are stil have symptoms I would make a doctors appt.

I got pregnant twice on birth control....

The only advice I have is that no matter what you do, if God wants you to be pregnant than you will be. Get a pregnancy test and if you are stop taking birth control IMMEDIATELY

answers from Jonesboro on

a simple solution is to take a pregnancy test. they have some cheap ones out now. If you are you need to stop taking the pill asap. Tubals can grow back just like a vasectomy can. Good luck
