My Husband had an accident at work yesterday. I won't go into the gorry details, but his finger is hanging on by not much and it is brocken. We are not having much luck getting him into a doctor to have surgery. If we do not get him into surgery fast enough, he could lose his finger. Please help and let me know if you know anyone or could recommend someone for me. So many of the doctors that we have contacted will not work with workman's comp claims. We have insurance, but since it happened on the job, it has to be filed under workman's comp. Oh, how I pray that one of you has someone that can get up in real soon , so he doen't have to lose his finger. Thank you in advance for your time!

We have used both Dr. Glogau, and Dr. Schwartz. They are in the same practice on Plano Parkway. Dr. Glogau put our son's ankle back together when other surgeons said they couldn't repair it well enough for himto use it again. He is 22 now and walking just fine. Dr. Schwartz reconstructed my husband's elbow in a 5 hour surgery and he has full use of it. Their # is ###-###-####.
I use to work for a hand Surgeon that is very good and nice. His name is Stephen Troum and he works for Orthopedic Institute of Texas in Bedford, Texas. If this is not too far I recommend this doctor for all upper extremities. I hope this helps.
