Need a Hairstyle Makeover

I had your same problem and got so tired of my hair that I just picked a name on-line after reading the reviews. I went to Lotus Salon & Spa in Wheaton ###-###-####. Christine is the sole proprietor. The only thing I told her was that I wanted my hair cut-off. She looked at my face asked questions and started cutting. I love what she did. I think the real test of a good hair cut is after you wash it and it still looks good. I took the risk as I figured that it's just hair and will grow back if I didn't like the cut. I'm glad I did. Good luck with your search. I know how frustrating it is to find the right stylist.

You might want to try Eileen @ Colorific of Bolingbrook. It is right off of Boughton Rd & 355 (across from IKEA). I have been going to her for a few years and have been very happy, and she is always excited to try new things & suggest styles for me. Their prices are VERY reasonable, and you can find their price menu on their website.

I've been going through the same feelings about my hair! Maybe it's the time of year... Anyway, I go to Ross at Salon Hype in LaGrange (although they also have a Burr Ridge location, which might be closer for you). I started going to him several years ago because I'd heard he does a good job of determining what cut would be best for one's type of hair and face shape. He has not disappointed. My recent dissatisfaction with my hair was due to a) the length we left it after my last cut (I needed enough for an undo for a special occasion) and b) the length of time since my last cut (13 weeks). So when I went in this past Saturday, I needed something different. We talked about what I wanted (I don't have a lot of time to spend on my hair, so whatever we did, it needed to be easy to manage), and then he gave me his suggestions. I LOVE the outcome! He is great at what he does. I know numerous people who also go to Salon Hype, although they see different stylists...but they all love whoever they see. So while I'm partial to Ross, you probably can't go wrong with any of the stylists. Just ask when you call to make the appt. for the stylist that will best be able to look at your hair and suggest styles that will work best for you. The receptionist should then pair you up with the best person for that. Good luck!
