Need a Good Photo Hosting Site

Hi, I usually host photos for selling online via photobucket, but for some reason, when I go in now it lets me log in but tells me I am restricted from going to my album. Also, on the places the pics are supposed to be showing up on the web, they are gone. So, does anyone use another photo hosting site that you like? Has to be free. I had tried glowfoto a while back, but their bandwidth or something wasn't enough and the pics would never show up where they were supposed to. As you can probably tell, I am not very tech savvy, but I had photobucket down and I hate to have to find another site. I can't find a contact place on their site to even see what the problem is. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I would recommend www.shutterfly.com like a couple of the moms below. My husband I use it to upload and share our photos, order prints, make albums, and order photo gifts. We have over 2,000 photos uploaded onto it and it is 100% free to use their site. We have ordered a ton of prints and photo books from them and their quality is amazing. We previously ordered photo books (albums) from 2 other sites (kodakgallery.com & photoworks.com) and Shutterfly had the best quality without a doubt. We have gotten some of our family members to use Shutterfly as well and now when they do and share photos with us, we just add them to our account and can use them as our own.

By the way in case you are interested in creating photo books, Shutterfly has a ton of different backgrounds you can use for each page, different layouts and even various borders for each photo. They also offer a program you can download for free that makes it easier to upload photos onto their site. You can do it without signing in and after you have selected all the photos you want to add, just click upload and it will get you to sign in and then you can walk away from your computer and it takes care of uploading your photos. We usually upload a couple hundred at a time and do it before going to bed. We wake up the next morning and all the photos are in our account. Check it out if you get a chance and let me know what you thought if you do.

I catalog all my photos on Webshots.com and when I want to add pictures to our website, I use slide.com

I have not had any problem at all with either one and they are both free.

I love this site - been using it for about 3 1/2 yrs and I take tons of pictures - I probably have 1000 or more pictures out there already - and that is not an exaggeration...

Good luck

I love snapfish.com. I've been using it for 3 1/2 years now and have never had an issue. I also like that I can have my photos from there sent to Walgreens and developed in an hour! They are always giving me free stuff because of my business. They also have an area where you can make gifts. Love it, love it, love it!

shutterfly!!!

I scrapbook and when I get the prints the date the pic was taken is on the back....besides the quality, that is one perk I LOVE.

My husband and I started a website (I am not technical at all, but this one is really easy to do). We were pregnant with our first child after trying for 2 years. We have family all over the US and wanted to keep everyone posted without sending emails.

So, we started a Phanfare website. I have a different folder for each month and when the month is over, I have them print pictures for me and mail them and it keeps my photo album up to date! Plus, family memebers can get on the website anytime to look at pictures whenever they want.

If you would like to take a look at our website, let me know and I'll send it to you.

You can buy a membership to http://smugmug.com/ and they let you upload and host unlimitedly, great website and has some great options for organizing your photos. I know lots of people that have had their memberships for YEARS and love it so much that they cringe at the mention of other photo websites.
Shutterfly and snapfish don't let you link to the pictures so they show up on your myspace or other website, you just have to link to the album.
