Need a Good Pediatrician in Grand Rapids. Recommendations?

I love this doctor! I feel she is very complete and concious with her exams and recomindations. I have switched insuances/doctors a couple of times in my daughter's (she has ADHD) life. So I really like a doctor who stays on top of things so I'm not over medicating my kids due to over perscribing. Dr Baker is wonderful, the whole office is. In fact my my son is sick today for the first time, they fit me right in at 10am this morning. I didn't call until 9:30 when he woke up. They also have a male doctor in the office. I recently moved up here from Kalamazoo as well. I miss ProMed!!
We use Cascade Pediatrics for my 1 year old and Metro Health for us grown ups. Cascade pediatrics is on Cascade Rd near the graceland cemetary nearby the 96 exit for cascade rd. Hope that helps.

Like Becca D. I also take all 3 of my children to MMPC on 36th and Michael. They all see Dr. Jannelle Stutzman (who also happens to be the office breastfeeding pro - for lack of the proper term), but I have also met a few of the other doctors as well, and all of the nurses and staff in the office are just awesome. My brother also takes his 4 kids there. I highly reccommend this office if your insurance covers it. If you have medicaid, I know 3 of the 5 peds there take the Priority Health plan (Dr. Stutzman being one of them).

We love our pediatrician, Dr. Susan Johnson, at Heritage Pediatrics in downtown GR. They're associated with Saint Mary's and part of Advantage Health. The staff and other doctors at the practice are wonderful as well.

I take DD to the same doctor's office that I have been going to since I was 15....I'm 30 now. It's called A&F Associates Family Medicine. they're located in NE Grand Rapids (Michigan/E Beltline) There are three doctors and one physicians assistant. DD sees Kirk Agerson, he's a big kid at heart and DD loves him. The other doctors are Jeffrey Johnson and Patrick Flood. The PA is Molly Paulson. This office is just amazing. They really take time to get to know you. All of the nurses are wonderful! I would highly recommend them to anyone. Their number if you need it is ###-###-####

Our whole family goes to the Wege Center for Health and Learning at 300 Lafayette SE Ste 3000 near downtown GR. It's Family Practice. My son and I see Dr Cavacece who is wonderful, and my husband sees Dr. Decker, who he is very pleased with as well. The Wege Center accepts medicaid and most insurance, and they can often get you in to see the doctor on the same day that you call! We're getting ready to move from GR to Holland, and I am devastated that we'll have to leave them.

I take my kids to MMPC pediatrics. It's in Wyoming at 36th and clyde park. I have heard from many people that it is a very good group. I would recommend one of the male doctors as I haven't had much contact with the female ones. I actually have a friend that lives in Rockford and chooses to drive down to go to the doctor here because she loves the office. Good luck!

###-###-####. My daughter is 5 and my son is 2. He is the only doctor they have every seen and they both love him and his staff. I love him because he knows his stuff, loves kids and he listens to what you have to say. You are never rushed and he takes all your concerns seriously.

We go to ABC Pediatrics with Dr. Hoogstra. We love him. He's been so good with the kids and has really been proactive with my daughter who has migraines. Dr. Staublin is also in that office and I've heard wonderful things about her as well, in fact when my second had RSV, she called us at home on a Sunday to see if we wanted to come into the office to give my daughter a breathing treatment. They have two offices - one on West Fulton by John Ball Zoo and one in Grandville on Ivanrest.
