Need a Good Pediatrician...

I am going to second Pediatric Associates in Danbury on Germantown Road. They are a wonderful group. My daughter sees Dr. Cohen and he is wonderful. I highly recommend him! He is very knowledgeable and very open minded. I just had a favorable conversation with him the other day about a vegetarian diet (my daughter doesn't like meat - like her mother!)

Hi N.. I have 2 kids and I take them to the Mt Kisco Medical Group. I know Mt Kisco is probably about 30-40 minutes away from you but in my opinion its worth the ride. The physicians are excellent and as a matter of fact mine and my husbands doctors are there too. They do have an office in Carmel which would be a little close for you and its a straight shoot west on I-84. Hope this helps. By the way, where in Ireland are you from? I go to Clair Free in Brookfield, ###-###-####. But the her phone service off hours is great. No extended hours but she is very laid back and very good about my no vacination stance. I know a couple other wholistic doctors in the area too if you are ever looking for a referral.

I've been taking my kids to Pediatric Associates in Danbury for 15 years. ( I even went to them when I was a kid!) They are all wonderful. I love that they have weekend/ holiday hours in case of an emergency and they are open late in the evenings as well. I also love how they have nurses available if you need to call with a question or concern. I can't say enough about them. Good luck and welcome to Danbury!

I take my son to Pediatric Associates of Western CT. They have Sat. hours for sick children and they're open until 9pm for parents who work. They're great!!! My Dr. is Dr. Gropper, but I've seen several others in the practice (last min. appts. when my son has been sick) and they're all wonderful. I don't know how far you wan to travel but I love my ped. Dr. Mortera in Newtown. The office is the same road that Walmart is on just farther up past target. She also has another doctor in the office with her. All my kids have gone there since birth and we can always get in when ever we need to. I use Dr. Bruce Cohen in Danbury. He is off of Germantown Rd. ###-###-####. They see you whenever you need, they have a great Physiciian Assistant Joe, They are open till like 8 or nine at night and sick call on both saturday and Sunday.
I have a son who will be 4 in July and we have seen him since he was 15 months. My son has asthma and Dr Cohen has always been great.
