Need a Good Pediatric Optometrist/Opthamologist

We're moving to Dallas shortly and as preparation for moving I tried to get us all up-to-date on doctor's appointments. I took my son for an eye exam for the first time (he's almost 5). The eye doctor told me that my son has a sever astigmatism and if he's going to do well in school he needs to get some glasses as soon as possible. So, I need to have him retested by a Pediatric Optometrist/Opthamologist and I'm just wondering if anyone has a stand-out doctor. I'm willing to drive to Ft. Worth for a really great doctor. Thanks!

What can I do next?

My child is legally blind with a sever astigmatism. Dr. Berry is very good. She takes all the time you need - no matter how long it is. She is centrally located - she also is on staff at Children's Medical Center. I highly recommend her. I think she works with Dr. Stager as well.

We see Dr. Wang. We used to see Dr. Berry for my older son, but she has retired and does not see new patients. Dr. Wang worked with Dr. Berry and was recommended by her. Her office is at Preston and Legacy in Plano. We like her a lot and her office is nice and new and has VERY easy free parking. She is a part of the new Children's Medical Center they are building on the Plano/Frisco border.

We used to go to Dr. Stager Sr. and when we moved here to Georgia, our new ophthalmologist went on and on about how gifted/famous Dr. Stager is. So I guess he's pretty good at what he does. His son (Jr.) is also an ophthalmologist. You may look into Dr. Berry and Dr. Wong as well. I think they all are kinda connected somehow--I've heard good things about all og them.
