NEED A Good Ob/gyn, Am I High Risk Now?

I am looking for the best ob/gyn in Utah. We live in American Fork, but can drive to SL if needed. I finally just got my first positive about 5 weeks ago, and after going to the ER we found out it was ectopic. We are devastated and want to find the right Dr for us. We struggled to get pregnant and used clomid and metformin. I am more comfortable w/ female Dr's. So I would love to find a great female Ob/gyn who can help guide us through this ectopic and into another pregnancy. Of course at this point I want to try to just find the right Dr reguardless. Please help, this has been a horrible week.

I love my doctor Terry Melendez, he shares an office with a few other doctors and I also love Dr. Lamoreux. I saw that someone mentioned Dr Ryan Jones as well and my sister really liked him AND I heard he shares an office with a female dr. that is really good as well. Good Luck! Sorry you've had so much trouble getting pregnant, my prayer go out to you!

I would recommend Dr. Andrea N. Smith, part of the Intermountain Legacy OB/GYN Clinic:

I actually haven't been to her, but I have heard fantastic things about her and this group. I wish I had gone to her when I was pregnant!

I'm sure this is a very difficult time for you. I had a late miscarriage and it was very difficult; my sympathies are with you. Hope for the best.

You want John Nichols. He's up here past the point of the mountain, but you will not regret it. Here is his cv:http://www.healthgrades.com/directory_search/physician/pr....

Oh yes, and his patients ADORE him. He is a total human AND massively competent. You feel safe putting your life in his hands. What can I say? Try him, you'll LOVE him. Well, not more than your husband... ;D

A friend of mine had an ectopic pregnancy and went on to have a daughter, her doctor was Fred Langeland up at LDS hospital. I went and saw him after my miscarriage and he was my OB during my pregnancy.

Try St. Marks Womens Center. My first pregnancy was high risk and they were wonderful! My doctor was Dr. Morgan (female) , that was four years ago so I'm not sure if she is still there, but I really liked going there. They also have a perinatology office in the building as well. Good Luck!

I know a great doctor (not female however) that is right on hospital road in American Fork. His name is Ryan Jones. He has done a couple of procedures for me. He did an emergency C section on me with my last son and saved the baby's life.
