Hi.
I need to find a good dentist in the Anaheim area that will take Cigna HMO. I'd like someone who is great with kids as well as adults - we all hate to go. I would rather not pick someone out on a list if I can avoid it.

We love our dentist. I live in West Anaheim, but she is located in Santa Ana on Tustin Ave near First Street. I don't know if she takes your specific insurance. Let me know if you want her contact info. so you could check to see if she takes your insurance.
I picked her from 1-800-DENTIST -- nearly 14 years ago.

Hi! Although I'm not sure if he takes Cigna HMO, Dr. Darren Chu in Anaheim Hills is awesome. I was terrified of the dentist for years and avoided going for most of my adult life. A dental emergency left me with no choice but to seek care. From the moment I met him and his staff, they did everything to put me at ease (I was a mess, crying like a baby). I'm happy to say I now go every 6 months with no fear at all. I even underwent wearing braces as an adult thanks to Dr. Chu and can now smile with pride! My husband and 12 year old also see him. My son actually asks when his next visit is because he loves seeing Dr. Chu and the staff. Crazy but true! I wish you the best in your search!
We go to a great dentist in Ahaheim Hills, Craig Burnham. And he is very nice, and so is his staff. He is very calm. Here is an example of how gentile he is-my son has had 2 fillings and after the 1st one i asked him how it went and he said fine, and then I asked if the shot hurt, my son said I didn't get a shot. and, so, then I was thinking--do they do something for kids that I dont know about? no. they just sneak it up behind him. And for some reason he never felt a thing. and he got the cavities filled at 2 different times. both times no problems. I have no idea about the insurance though.
Hi C. - I'm not sure how close it is but myself, husband and daughter travel from Bellflower to go to our dentist. He is in Buena Park and we love him. The name is Randall Kanemaki General Denistry - 8751 Valley View, Suite B, Buena Park, 90620 - ###-###-####. You would have to call to find out if they take your insurance. Our favorite dentist is Trent. My daughter has been going there since she was about 2 when I would sit in chair and she would lay on my chest while they checked her teeth. A great way to make little ones feel safe. They told me it was great to get her used to the dentist (she doesn't mind going at all and is now 9) instead of waiting until there is an emergency when they would be terrified. Good luck!!
It's in Cypress, but we love Dr. Fukumoto - ###-###-####. My daughter, age 7 loves him as do I. He is so good she just got her first filling ever without a shot to numb her. :)
