Need a Good Diet!

I need a good diet that I can start. Summer is coming up and I need to lose a few pounds. I'm a carb-bread, pasta, potato LOVER and I do better with a veggie/fruits type diet, but willing to try anything! Any suggestions on a fairly easy diet to stick to with a 2 yr old running around????

just sig in and they give you the kind of diet you want and the recipe are so easy to make

and i also recomend don't eat anything after 7:00 and drinks a lot of water and working out

I lost 14lbs in 3 weeks on the Special K diet. I ate a bowl for breakfast, one for lunch or substituted Triscuits with cheese instead. For dinner I ate what I wanted. It was pretty easy to stick to. The first week I was really hungry but by week two, I was used to it and didn't feel hungry at all. The directions are on the box. I did not like the plain Special K but the Strawberry is great.

Hi - K. I understand about losing some LBs before summer. I can not do diets becuase once in my mind that I can't have something I NEED it. This is what I have been doing and have been losing weight.

1) I get 2 cups of coffee each morning (this was hard for me)I have started using soy milk in my coffee as well.
2) All of my portions of carbs or meat are no bigger than the size of my fist combined. the rest of my plate has salad or fruit.
3) Unil noon I can drink anything I want except sodas, but after noon it is water from there on out.
4) I do not eat anything after 7:00pm.
5) If you feel snackie eat some almonds or a spoon of PB.
6) I walk my dog each evening for 20-30 mins.

I also get everyone (hubby, 3yr old and 2 yr old) together each night before bed and we stretch. I read somewhere that this helps relax you so your body can burn more calories while you sleep. Don't know if it is true but the kids like the quality time - they also like to show off how flexible they are :)

Weight Watchers is the only plan I've stuck to and gotten long-lasting results from. I recommend it over all others (and I've tried many)! If you don't have time for meetings, they have online only options. But I really suggest meetings--so many more tips and accountability (which I need). Best wishes!

I would highly suggest Michael Thurmond's 6 Week Body Makeover. You can research it on the web. I still have over 40 pounds to lose but this diet as worked better than any other I have ever been on. I just completed 2 weeks and lost 15 pounds! Weight Watchers also works (although more slowly) but I didn't have time for the meetings. Good luck!
