Nature Made TripleFlex Vs. Elations for Sore Joints?

Hi Moms, I have pretty bad knees and recently came across Nature Made's TripleFlex supplement. It contains glucosamine and chondroitin which I've heard of, and then there's a 3rd ingredient (Hyaluronic Acid). Has anyone has tried it and noticed a difference? If so, how long did it take for the relief to set in. I've also seen the commercials for Elations (contains the first two ingredients). Has anyone had luck with that supplement drink for joint relief? And finally, which is best? Thanks for your input and insight.

What can I do next?

Glucosamine & Chondroitin do work for "arthritis", but unfortunately, they are not absorbed very well when it's taken orally. It works best when it's injected into the actual site. Same goes for Hyaluronic Acid, which is a form of collagen the body naturally produces. So, you can take either product, but it won't work very well & takes at least 3-6 months to build up in the body before you see any results.
First, it is best to examine why your knees are sore. What is the root of the pain? Are you carrying excess weight? Do you have a diet high in animal products? Are you not feeling supported mentally/ emotionally? Did you have a past injury physically or past trauma that didn't heal properly? It really is best to get to the root & address all areas of body/mind to help the knees & overall health.
If you want further help, just call the office to make an appointment.

I agree with the posts about Shaklee's Joint Health Complex. According to testing done on the product, it works in as little as 1 week whereas other products can take up to 4-8 weeks. That product is a favorite of many of my customers. Both my husband and I have used it for years. They have 2 other pain relief products which work with with Joint Health Complex - Pain Relief Complex and Joint & Muscle Pain Cream. My husband had a bout of very painful sciatica several years ago. With those 3 products and a chiropractor, he was able to function without having to use prescription drugs avoiding the side effects of the stronger medications.

Hi M. B,
Good for you for looking for natural remedies for your joint pain. I too have knees that are achy from time to time.

What I found were a couple of things. The most important thing is that chondroitin is not effective for joints unless it is injected. So, these products that say that they have chondroitin are really not helping you.

The other thing I have found was that nutritional supplements are not regulated by the FDA, so a lot of products cannot guarantee that what is on the label is actually in the product. You want to find a company that has some science and research behind it. Some companies that market relief may not have the best ingredients.

Having said that, I have found that Shaklee supplements have that. When I first started taking their Joint Health Complex, I believe I noticed relief in less than a month, but everyone is different and some people notice a difference within the first week.

Because I have found a company that I can trust and I have witnessed first hand amazing results, I have become a distributor for the company.

I would be happy to speak with you about it, if you would like more information.

Here is a link with more information on the product that I mentioned above.

xango juice worked for me in 3 days....you need to buy it from a independent consultant, which i am not, but i have gotten my 82 yr old dad on it as well as a few of my friends parents in their 80s and we all have gotten relief very fast. good luck.

You could try just soaking in epsom salts or applying moist heat for 20 minutes. Try to avoid the drinks and such that affect your whole stomach and system.

Hi! I'm 60 now and started taking Shaklee and then Melaleuca Glucosamine Condroitin about 10 years ago. I took my Mother-in-law to her 60th high school reunion and met a man who, 5 years earlier was in a wheel chair. Now he was running around like a teenager. He told me he started taking GC on the advice of another. First you have to get the good stuff or you're wasting money and time. Take it 3 times a day, every day and it takes a few months to see signifigant results. Took me 6 mo. to go from walking up and down the stairs holding the railing with both hands to a brand new pair of knees!! I spend my days carrying babies, laundry, groceries up and down the stairs, pushing the stroller a mile or two, no problem. NO KIDDING

I agree with the Shaklee Joint Health Complex suggestion. My husband is a cyclist and runner and really benefits from this product. And the great thing about Shaklee is their money-back guarantee. If you buy something at the store that doesn't work the way you expected, you're usually stuck with it. But with Shaklee, you can always return it for your money back.

Best of luck to you!
