Nap Nanny

Has anyone had any experience with the Nap Nanny? My daughter is 1 month old and she is extremely uncomfortable because of her reflux when she is flat on her back. My friend has a Nap Nanny and recommended that I purchase one but I wanted to hear what other Moms had to say before I went out and purchased one. We tried the Rock and Play sleeper and a regular wedge but neither worked. Thanks for your help!

What can I do next?

I don't have any experience with one.. but they're so cool. I wanted one even though my son didn't have reflux because they just look so comfy!

I'd go for it. Its comfy and they have straps so that baby can't accidentally roll off of it.

LOVE the Nap Nanny. Not only is it worth it now to help with her reflux but she can use it for a long time. They are definately worth the $$.

We put him in the carseat. We had a carseat that you could snap in and out of the car and he slept very well in there. He started to be able to climb out of it at 3 1/2 months but it was great till then.

I definitely agree with everyone. After using the Nap Nanny my daughter sleeps through the night. It is amazing. And about the price- I definitely agree with what was said below, you can get a lot of use out of it for sleeping and even when they get older it is still comfortable to hang around in. My neighbors who are toddlers love to sit in my daughter's Nap Nanny to watch TV and snack in when my daughter is not sleeping in it. It is worth every penny. As for the reflux- the improvement that we saw after using the Nap Nanny has been more than we could have ever imagined.

My son had reflux but I put him in the Fisher Price glider which I had already purchased anyhow. The pediatrician was against the car seat and swing saying they can cramp their stomachs. The Nap Nanny looks to have the same position as the glider so I would think it would be okay. The other option is to raise one end of her crib...not enough so she can't lay there without rolling of course. ;)

My son had reflux and he always had to be on an incline...we had a wedge on his changing table and one is his crib. That seemed to do the trick...haven't seen this nap nanny but I think im gonna check it out just because it sounds neat.

Good luck!
