I second the Heard Museum. We did my son's party there when the Dinosaurs came the first time. The boys loved it! We justed rented one of their meeting rooms instead of paying for the full-party. It worked out beautifully. Their website has details....www.heardmuseum.org

I don't know where you live in proximity to McKinney (or if they would let you do parties) but for your son it might be cool to check this out: http://www.heardmuseum.org/
They have the dinosaur exhibit going on right now.
All boys Love dinosaurs!

Jump 'N Jive in Rockwall, a bounce house place. You can reserve the whole building for just your party. Also, ASI Gymnastics does birthday parties as well. Also, you can look on the internet for agencies in the area that have characters who will come to your party. I've seen Cinderella at a party. She was great.

I know this trail is a little old but it came up when I searched birthday parties in our area. I thought I would share my thoughts. We had a fantastic party for our 5 year old son. The kids had so much fun! My friend recommended that we have a Scribble Cakes decorating party. I was a little apprehensive at first because I was thinking about the mess of icing everywhere but decided to go with it. It was truly a great idea. The kids didn't end up a big mess, my house didn't end up a big mess and the children had a blast decorating their monster cakes that they ate in the end. I didn't have to leave my house, it was awesome fun! You can find them on Facebook.

Pump it Up Jr in Plano is where we just had my son's 3rd birthday. He's recently also been to Amazing Jakes at Collin Creek Mall for a birthday party; there is a place at the Galleria - I can't recall the name, but it is where little girls can have their parties and do dress-up type stuff.

I have a tea room in McKinney (theme is Alice in Wonderland and we have fun parties for children, as well as crafts). However, your kids might really enjoy the Jump n' Zone in McKinney (off 380). They have private party rooms and lots for the kids to keep them busy. My grandkids are the same age as your kids. Ask for Paula, she is wonderful to work with and did a great job for us. The kids absolutley love this place. Just remember to bring socks.
