Moms-
I hope that you can give me some tips- My hair is so dull! Is used to have such a nice luster (especially while I was prego) now forget about it! I need some help- I'm not a big fan of product in my hair because I don't like the stiff feeling- My hairstyle is an inverted bob. I do dye it myself (feria) and I blow dry it everyday. Do you recomend a specific shampoo and conditioner? I use Pantene. And I put on an oil made by Biolage before blow drying.

I am looking so forward to your responses!

Thanks~
J.

I use Hemp Shampoo from Sally's Beauty supply and Biolage Hair Balm/Conditioner from Ulta. Together they really help lift up my hair.
i do not wash my hair everyday. My hair dresser said most people do not need to wash there hair everyday. Another thing she shared was that many people over wash their hair when they wash it everyday. To much shampoo or not getting the shampoo total out can make the hair look drab and dull
Also if there is days you are not leaving the house right away don't use the hair dry.

Good Luck

PS: I where my hair the same style

Are you still on your vitamins? That makes a huge differnce! Also, maybe do a stripping shampoo to get the build-up off your hair, then a deep conditioning treatment. After all that, if your hair is still not shining, consider a shine serum on your hair, I know you said you don't like product in yor hair, but it's a silicone type of thing and doesn't leave a film. I used to use it a lot.

Hope that helps!

Okay- Sounds like we have similar hairstyles.
I use Aquage Beyond Shine which I spray on before I blow dry/flat iron as well as after to give it some shine.........It works awesome and can be found and any nice salons. Not sticky or anything.
Good luck!

Hi Jackie!
Ok, I have a great friend that owns a salon and will only give me ther best products as well as work with the best. I LOOOOOVE LOVE LOVE OSiS Magic anti frizz serum. You put 2 pumps into your palm after the shower and work into wet hair. When you blow dry or flat iron it is SILKY smooth! I have recommended this to many and they have had NO complaints!
Good luck and keep me posted!

Hi Jackie!

Hope it's not too late for a response. I have recently (about 1 1/2mo ago) switched over to Wen by Chaz Dean. I absolutely love it. My hair is shiny, manageable and soft.

Long story short...my hair was breaking, lots of split ends very unruly. I started looking into healthier shampoos... found out that I need to go sulfate free. Tried a few from Ulta including Kenra and Pureology. They were pretty good but nothing compares to Wen (which I found on an infomercial). My hair feels great now. It is a cleansing conditioner which you use as a shampoo, conditioner & leave-in conditioner. You would think that it would way your hair down...absolutely the opposite. My hair is normally very frizzy...this stuff tames it the best. They have different configs for different hair types.

Oh yeah...with this product I now only use Wen Cleansing conditioner, Wen styling cream & a moracon oil. Even my friends have noticed my hair looking healthier.

Give it a try...if you want. I love it!

I use the prosante hair care sytem from Shaklee. I love how it works. It's pricy, but really concentrated, so it lasts longer than a bottle of pantene or such.

Hey Jackie, I can relate. My hair changed color and texture after my third child. But you really need GOOD hair care products to get rid of the stuff that is making your hair dull. Actually like detoxing your hair. I use some great natural products that won't strip your hair or add oil to it. Mineral oil or alcohol in any product will destroy your hair and skin. Sounds like you need a total revamping and good vitamins will help as well. Email me for more information. Good luck to you.
