My Grandson Thomas- Continued

It has been less than 2 weeks since Thomas was diagnosed with Leukemia. For 5 days in a row his blood tested Negative of cancer cells! This seems like a true miracle! But I still don't understand it. What's not so great is he now has long casts on both of his legs. He expressed that he was having pain in the other leg. They found more fractures. The doc said its part of the disease. My poor sweetie :(. He has another bone marrow biopsy on the 9th. He's still healing from the last one and is too bruised so that's why they're waiting on that. But his prognosis so far is excellent!!

What can I do next?

P.,
I am sorry I didn't see your original post. I prayed for you just now and will continue to. I have a friend whose nephew had lukemia and it was rough for awhile. He has made a full recovery and is leading a normal life now.

I can't imagine anything much worse than having a child go through this. I know your heart breaks for his pain and you would take it from him if you could.

Please keep us posted and know you're in our hearts and prayers. Glad is prognosis looks great. Hugs to you and your little guy.

Blessings!
L.

Prayers for your grandson! I see you're in Salem. Is he going to Boston Children's? I hope so. They are the #1 children's hospital. We travel out of state to take my so there (open heart surgery, heart catheterizations, etc).

P.,

I'm sorry that your grandson has leukemia. I'm glad you aren't blaming the military doctors anymore.

I'm sure is a truly stressful time. You are getting GREAT news from the doctors!!! I will pray for his continued progress and will soon be cancer free!!
