I am looking for new ideas for my daughter's 7th birthday party in August. We've done the Adventure Landing and Build a Bear parties, so I would love to hear any other ideas!

What can I do next?

Clix Portrait Studios just started a party called Cover Girlz. They take candids and portraits of everyone that comes. It's very cool. The birthdya girl leaves with all sorts of stuff.

My niece just went to a party at Crossgates Mall. It was a salon for kids called Libby Lou. They do their hair and nails. She had lots of fun. A day of pampering for the little ones.

Hi E., my name is S. and I work from home for a company called Noah's Ark Animal Workshop. We do the stuff-n fluff animals except we come to you. It is like build a bear but cheaper and easier. Anyways I can see you have already dont that so I thought I would tell you about Bella Bee Glamour Girl Workshop. It would be perfect for your daughters age and her friends. You pick which flavor of products you want and there is fun lesson that goes with it. We have Cotton Candy Confidence, Bubblegum Friendship, Berry Truth, & Grape Sweetheart. The girls get to go glam with different products and I ask them questions and go over a little lesson so they learn something as well. The get to keep the products and the bag it comes with as well as a fashion accessory you picked out. The b-day girl gets a Bella Bee Beanie animal,as a well as a Bella Bee Builder book. I would love to tell you more about there is alot you can do with this and te girls love it. We also do a fun fashion show at the end. I hope you will check out my website at www.rockingthearkanimals.com then you contact me and I can answer any questions you might have. I hope to hear from.

For my daughter's 6th birthday party we bought a slip n slide with the 3 lanes, and a bottle of baby shampoo (in case it got in anyone's eyes) to make it more slippery. Every kid on our street (about 30 at the time) was invited. They had a blast! We also had build your own sundae. I used a veggie tray with the separate compartments and filled them with mini chocolate chips, marshmellows, crushed heath bar, peanut butter chips, gummi bears, cup up brownie pieces, sprinkles, and had bottles of chocolate syrup, cherries, and caramel. The kids all loved this! Also I didn't have to worry about entertaining the kids because they were busy all day with the slip n slide. Everyone said it was the best party ever, including my daughter, and that was the most important thing. Be sure to tell everyone to bring a towel so you aren't stuck with the laundry afterward!

We have been to a couple of birthday parties at the Little Gym. They are quite fun! I'm not sure which end of town you're on, but this one is in Fairport/Perinton.

They have gymnastics equipment, and do other activities like a bouncy-type blow up thingy..and the parachute game, dancing, etc..........

Another fun place we've been to birthday parties is Village Sports. This establishment is also in Fairport.

Hope this helps!

We have done a mystery themed party-they had to solve mysteries
also we have done a nnot a sleepover sleepover-everyone comes wearing their pajamas-you make popcorn tell silly ghost stories.
The family fun website has lots of great ideas for kids parties.
But the best party would be to ask your daughter what she wants.

Hi E.~ One of the neatest parties my daughter was ever at was a chocolate party. This place that makes chocolate throws them. They have a party room and the kids make chocolate covered popcorn, decorate a box and make their own chocolate pizza's. I know the tasks sound simple, but they had all kinds of toppings and the kids had these chants to say while they picked them. The place did an awesome job with the kids, it was a blast. They had a separate room for parents, where coffee was served during the party.
