Hi!

My daughter is turning 3 in Dec. and I want to have it at a place that is really girlie. Between my sons birthday parties and all of his friends and our friends birthdays, we've been to every kind of bounce house, park, and chuck e cheese type of place. I don't want to have it at our house because it'll be cold and I don't want all the kids jammed in our house, bored. I live in Roseville California. Can you recommend a place to have it? Painting place, dress up, arts and crafts, princess related, dance?? Thanks!

What can I do next?

There is a small gymnastics place on one of hte hilly shopping centers. We went to a party there that was just awesome! I can't think of the name of it, tho, sorry! But it was a gymnastics place, and not a full size one, just a small one.

You can try Dash of Panache. It is located on Vernon St. in Downtown Roseville. I haven't been to a party, but we were there when a group of girls were coming in for a party. They were dressed in their princess costumes. I did see a closet full of hats, boas, and other dress up items. Another place you could try is Tricks gym in Granite Bay. You can have a gymnastics party or a dance party. My daughter went to a dance party when she was 3. All the little girls were dressed up as princesses. There were 2 princesses who hosted. While the guests were arriving, the girls were busy coloring princess pages. The 2 hostesses also applied make up and polish to finger nails and toe nails. There was dancing, musical chairs (on spots instead of chairs). Then they went into the party room for pizza and cake. It was fun!

I wish I could have a princess party for my two girls, but 1/2 of their friends are boys!

I just booked my baby shower at A Dash of Panache in Roseville. It's a tea house and they do princess parties and other girlie parties. I haven't actually had my shower yet so can't give you a full recommendation, but they are taking care of everything from the invites to the cake. Here's there website so you can see photos- www.adashofpanache.com Also you might want to look into Art Beast in Sacramento. I'm not sure if they do parties, but it would be PERFECT for what you are looking for. www.artbeaststudio.com I would still call them if they aren't advertising parties on the website, they just opened in June and seem flexible on ideas. Good luck!

There are Tea Houses all around Sacramento area that might be cute for a girlie tea party. When my daughter turned 5 I had a dress up/tea party for her at our home. We had tea sets set up, finger foods and cookies, boxes of hats, scarves and dress up clothes. It was the best little girl party we have ever had. If you want to have it some place other than your home then I would recommend a tea house. I know there is a cute one on Fair Oaks Blvd in Carmichael. I think it's called the doll house or something like that.

Hello- If you want princess related, there's a place in Roseville called Girlfriends. They dress up, put on makeup, take pictures etc. It's located on Douglas and Rocky Ridge in the Macaroni Grill/Borders complex. Have fun!

You should definitely pick up one of those free Sacramento Parent magazines because they have a lot of ads for birthday places and services, but in old downtown Roseville on Vernon St. is a place called Dash of Panache that does tea parties. I have not hosted a party there, but my daughter attended one and she seemed to enjoy it. They provide a dress up activity (not full dress, like fancy hats or jewelry) and then they have cake and tea/lemonade.

Olivia's Dollhouse Tearoom in Carmichael CA is great. dress up, hair and make-up, then 'tea' with goodies. Ms. Tara is absolutely wonderful and treat's all the princesses like it is their special day.
