Hi Ladies, I know the flu shot is scarce these days but does anybody know where I can get my 2 yr.old the shot for this season? My pediatricians office is out of them as most places are. Any suggestions would help!

What can I do next?

Not sure where you are but Trinity Pharmacy on Rosemeade in Carrollton had them as of last Monday. You may want to call ahead and make sure they still do before heading over.

We got our family flu shots at the Minute Clinic at CVS, I also know that Walgreen is giving them, and last weekend while at Costco they had a special flu shot day. You may want to call around though some stores (Tom Thumb for example) will not give flu shots to children. Good luck

M.,

Most places will not vaccinate kids under 18 months and some places will not vaccinate kids for under 3 year. so call ahead and make sure they can handle your 2 year old. I know Carenow can Vaccinate kids, but like all peds, they are out. You can either call the peds in your area and see who has the shots left. They usually require a visit before they can vaccinate your child. Or, you can visit your county health department, which you will need to bring a shot record.
Good luck!
