buy her the seat that attaches to the toilet... try that.. i think she is ready to start training... tell her no or ignore when she goes in the wrong place.. your not giving her attention.. if she goes on the toilet.. then cheer for her.. and give her kisses... good luck... buy pull ups for the day.. but leave diapers on at night..

I'd say just start potty training her. Simply tell her that if she takes off her pants and diapers then that means she needs to sit on the potty from now on. Take her in every hour or so and have her sit with some special potty toys.

It's hard because with 2 older ones to keep up with the last thing you need to be doing to mopping up pee. The fun thing, as you know, is that once you get this trick figured out she'll think of something even more annoying. Tis the battle of motherhood .... we want to keep our minds and our kids want us to drive us out of our minds.

not that this solves the whole issue, but i had a friend who used to cut the feet off of her daughters pajamas and sew them back on backwards, then put the pjs on her backwards so the zipper was up the back. at least keeps her stuff on at night :)

Tricky toddlers.. Sounds like she maybe interested but not necessarily ready or vice versa... I would work with potty training and offer the pullups or training pants and see if that sparks her interest. If not, then have her keep her diaper on! My son who is 2 now does the same, always wants to show his butt, but he refuses pull ups and is not really interested in the potty. I am waiting until I pursue it more, where as my first at that age was so interested in the pull ups and going potty...

My 17mth old son does the same thing, when I'm changing him, he loves pulling open the tabs when I've just put it on and sometimes if he's walking around, he would pull the diaper down to expose his butt-crack! I didn't even think that maybe he's ready to be potty-trained! I always thought it was too early to be thinking about that. I will look into Pull-Ups and a seat for the toilet as well! My mother says we used to do the same thing and she would put some heavy tape on the diaper. I was going to recommend putting on a onesie, something to conceal the diaper.
