Can anyone recommend a music class for infants in the Issaquah area? I had my son in Music Together 3 years ago in California and we loved it. I see there is a Sunshine Music Together in Bellevue and a Field's Music Together on Mercer Island. Does anyone have any experience with either of these?

What can I do next?

The Musik Nest in Gilman Village is wonderful! http://www.themusiknest.com/
The woman who owns and runs it is a former nanny and is so great with the kids.

You could check out the Musik Nest in Issaquah. I've heard it's great and plan to attend with my 1.5 year old next school year.

Hi N.,

We go to The Musik Place in Bellevue and love it! The teacher, Miss Cynthia, is licensed with a childcare degree and masters. She is wonderful with kids! The website is www.themusikplace.com

I've heard that Kindermusic is supposed to be fantastic. There's also the Music Nest. Then there are more active classes with music involved such as Gymboree and The Little Gym. All three of these are in Issaquah and right off of Gilman Blvd.

Have you considered the Sponge School for Languages? They offer classes for parent and child that are taught entirely in Spanish, French, Japanese, or Mandarin. The classes are fun and engaging and include lots of music and movement in addition to the language learning that goes on. It's a great way to enjoy a music class while also learning a second language! They just opened their Issaquah location last fall. You can find more info at www.spongeschool.com

(I'm a mom of a 3 and 5 year old and a former language immersion teacher and music major - this school gets my thumbs up!)
