Mums in Minnesota

Hello S.,

I've just moved to Minnesota from North Carolina and have been living in the US now for almost 6 years. We live in the Maple Grove/Dayton area, and would be interested in meeting up. I have a school-age boy (10), and a boy who turns 3 in March. I'm from the South of England, my husband from the North.

Yeah I would like to meet up. It would be fun!
We moved here last February from Edinburgh although I'm from the north west originally (Runcorn near to Chester/Manchester/Liverpool). I'm married with two little boys aged 3 and 20months and also have another on the way. The next one is due in March.

We are currently living downtown Minneapolis but can meet wherever.

I am in a Moms Club in Eden Prairie and read about the group you are forming. There are two Mums from England in my Moms Club that are interested. I will pass the information along to them. It might be a fun idea if you started a group on yahoo for Twin Cities Mums.

I am one of the mums from the Moms Club someone posted you about. My name is E. and I am originally from Sheffield and moved to Eden Prairie 4 years ago with my husband and two girls. We since had a third girl who is now two. I had her at Methodist with a midwife - Kiasa Johnson (not sure on the spelling, do you know of her?). I don't work as I don't have a working visa, but I was a primary school teacher.
The other mum in the Mom's Club is called Alison and she has been here a year and is from Shrewsbury. We get on really well and meet at least once a week to talk about all things English and to have a cup of tea!!
It would be great to get together with all the English mums. I also know of one other mum who is from England and lives in Eden Prairie so I will try ad let her know about this group.
