My husband was just offered a job in Northern California and we'll be moving in a few weeks to be closer to family and friends (we hate to leave San Diego, but think it will be better for our daughter to be closer to family and we'll also be able to afford a nicer place to live). His company offered to pay for the movers and told us to get 3 quotes. Anyone know of any good moving companies (that do the whole deal-packing, loading, moving, etc.)

My Friends own a moving company that does all the packing, loading and moving, etc.. Their company also doesn't take one - three weeks to deliver your stuff like most other companies they deliver it right away, here is the information you will need.

We had really good experience with Priority movers. They didn't pack boxes for us, but I'm pretty sure they do that. Good Luck
check "Discount Movers" in Pacific Beach - I am not sure if they move around the state but they were reasonable and good when they moved me across town :) Have fun in No. Cal, I love it up there!
I know it's annoying because you will probably get stalked but I signed up online for movers to call me with quotes. I got about five quotes and then I checked them on the BBB and reviews. Through that, I was able to pick one mover and they've moved us twice now. Another thing I do is go through the yellow pages and then also check them out on BBB before I call them for a quote.
