We're moving out of state soon and my boys (soon to be 10 and 8) have birthdays coming up. I'd like to have a party for them that is memorable and they can invite as many friends as they want. We'll be in temp. living in an apartment, so I don't see it happening there. The more active the better for these boys. Any ideas out there???

Thanks,
L.

Main Event is definitely a great place! We've been to several bday parties there, and kids had a great time.

Good luck on your move..I'm jealous! Although I like Texas, NC is where my Dad's family is and I love it there..if I can ever drag my hubby outta Texas, I'd go! We were there for vacation in Sept and it was beautiful!

Also, a lot of the apartments now-a-days have a movie room, pool tables, etc. that you can rent out that would be a very fun spot. Close to home and roomy!!! Good Luck!

What about Pump It Up! The older kids love these places and so do the little ones. Or a skating party. My son is 10 and he always wants to meet his friends at the skating rink. Incredible Pizza in Euless is nice as well and they will def. have all kind of options. The one thing I would do since you guys are moving is make sure you take a group picture with all their friends. My daughter received a thank you card from a birthday party that had group picture on it. You can get these printed at Walmart for about 33 cents a piece.. That way your sons and their friends will always have a memory of one another..

I would go to Going Bonkers in Lewisville. It's about 7 minutes from Grapevine Mills Mall on McArthur Ave. It's great b/c they can run around for hours in the playscape and they have lots of video games upstairs. They have birthday party packages available. I take my eight year old son there all the time and he LOVES it! Good luck

If you need a mover give us a call Adonis Moving Company
____@____.com or ###-###-####. Let us know you got our info on mamasource.com.
My kids love having their parties at Nickel Mania. All you have to do is pay $20 deposit which goes towards the end total, they do all the set up with decorations and they have pizza(I think it is only $10 for a large) and soda. Give the kids some nickels and let em play. We always have a great time going here and most people say they like it cause it is something new and different.
Good Luck

Congratulations on your move! We moved to Plano from NC almost 20 yrs ago!!! NC is beautiful and I hope you love it.

How about Main Event for your boys. They have laser tag, bowling, games. There is one here in Plano and I think one is located in Lewisville area. There is also a gaming place located in Grapevine Mills Mall.

Have fun!
Susan
