Hi Mommas, I lead a Brownie Girl Scout Troop of 13, and we are planning to make Mother's Day gifts this Friday. Do you have any ideas about what we can do?? I'm not the most crafty person in the world. Thanks for your ideas!

What can I do next?

No ideas popping in my mind right now. BUT, I think you should go to pinterest and type in Mothers day craft in the search. I bet you'll find a lot of good ideas!

Mosaic stepping stones.

You can get all of the stuff easily at your local craft store and Lowe's. Ask each Brownie to bring a colorful plate/cup/something made of stoneware, mirror or thick glass that they can break and use to personalize it more.

There are instructions EVERYWHERE. Here are some: http://www.favecrafts.com/Garden-and-Outdoor/Mosaic-Stepp...

Decorate flower pots then plant little begonias in them.
I have the begonia my son gave me in the 3rd grade and it's still going strong 4 years later.

My go to craft ideas for this age group are picture frames and flowerpots.
The girls can decorate a plain wood frame (paint, glitter, jewels, whatever) and then you take take a photo of each girl and put it in the frame. Another idea is to make the frame out of popsicle sticks, decorate and add the photo as mentioned above, then stick a piece of magnetic strip on the back so it can be displayed on the fridge! Have the girls wrap the frames with pretty colored tissue paper and tie it up with a ribbon.
Or, they can paint and decorate clay flowerpots, then plant each pot with some pretty spring flowers.
Hand made cards or tags to go along with the gift would be nice too :)

Buy some plain picture frames from Michaels to decorate, decorate flower pots and plant some flowers in them. Make some book marks or little books that the girls can write about their moms.

Picture frame memory boards. Fabric, a glue gun, a roll of foam, ribbon and decorative tacks. Don't go any smaller than 8x10. The girls can personalize them with different fabric, ribbon and accessories like buttons, flowers, even paper art - to what they think their moms would like.

My daughter painted a mini flower pot, filled it with dry beans, wrapped a pen in ribbon and glued a silk flower on the top. The pen sits in the pot when not in use (the beans keep it in place. I love it!

Hand prints in clay. I have one of these and I love it! Should be a simple recipe on the internet. Have them write their name and date in it.
