Any mom have experience between Morton Plant Hospital vs Mease Countryside Hospital? I know they belong in the same hospital system. I've given birth at Tampa Gen Hospital, but we moved and it is too far.... I would love to hear from moms... thanks...

Not sure about the OB area but my father was treated at Morton Plant during the course of a six month battle with pancreatic cancer last year. All of the staff in the areas he was - CCU, ER, Radiation, 6th floor - were wonderful! I live in Hillsborough and used St. Joseph's Womens but I would have used MP if I lived over there. The main hospital has been around for years and keeps growing in more specialty areas. Best of Luck! PS - I did like hearing the lullaby music they play whenever a new baby is born - very sweet.

I loved Morton Plant. The nurses, doctors and generally the staff there were great. Unfortunately, I have no experience with Mease.

I know my address shows Cinci but I just moved here. I had my son at Morton Plant in Clearwater almost 4 years ago and LOVED them. I picked a Dr specifically based on where he delivered. All of my coworkers praised Morton Plant so I knew I wanted to go there. The nurses were fantastic. Congrats!

You probably can't go wrong with either since they're both Morton Plant. I had my last 2 at Morton Plant in CW. Wonderful experience. The nurses were great. As a matter of fact, my son was tongue tied & it was the nurse that found it! Also, our pediatrician is walking distance from the hospital. Good luck with your new little one. :-)

If you are looking for Labor/Delivery experienc, I had both my boys there (4yr & 10mo) and had no problems. Everyone was very good, nice, and helpful.
