I am looking for child care for my 13 month old son for just Mondays and Fridays only. Looking for In home, nanny, preschool or otherwise in the Long Beach area. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

You could try the web site Sittercity.com. You post your request (sitter, nanny, etc) and people reply. You can look through all of the replies, check references, etc. The site even has an easy way to do a background check. There is a fee to sign up with Sittercity, but you can choose what you need (one month vs. one year, etc.). I've used the site several times in the past to find sitters and it's worked great. I usually get like 30 applicants and many of them are also looking for nanny work.

I have a GREAT in home daycare provider in Long Beach, down in the Belmont Heights area, and she is very flexible with her hours, so M & F would be fine I'm sure. I don't have her phone # with me right now, but if you're interested I'll send it to you

I have an eighteen year old that is a former nanny who has Friday completely free. We live in Lakewood/Long Beach and she is fantastic with kids and pets. If you would like my phone number I will be glad to send it to you. She has a car is fully insured.

You should check craigslist. Some licensed childcare homes advertise there.
