Moms Club/Activities near St. Ben's Area

Just moved to St. Ben's area & looking for a moms club/group. Where we just moved from I belonged to MOMS Club where we had weekly play dates, weekly park days, scheduled activities & events. It was a great environment to meet new people & network with other moms and their kids. Unfortunately MOMS Club doesn't have a chapter in this area. Does anyone know of a fun moms club or group that isn't too far?

J.,

I belong to a moms group on the Internet. Their website is www.moms.meetup.com/410. They have activities for moms & kids about once a week. Most of the members live north of the loop (i.e. Bucktown, Wicker Park, Lincoln Park, St. Bens). Hope that helps.

Not sure where St. Ben's is but check out the Northside Parents Network...they may be able to recommend a group in your area. This is how I got hooked into mine.

Check out the playgroup at St Ben's (call the Rectory for details)...I think they meet Tues AM and Thursday PM. It is open to all.

Second, check out Northside Parents Network (northsideparents.org I think) Typically there are playgroup postings or zip-code specific events. I think NPN is a great resource!

Hi J.,
Check out Northside Parents Network. Mom's in the area are always setting up playgroups and such.

J.,
There aren't any Moms clubs that I know of anywhere in the city of Chicago. But, I sure would like to find one. I live on the NW side but would travel further if I knew of one. If you find any, can you let me know too?

If you're interested, the Bubble Academy has free play on Tues and Fri from 2p-3:45p. If you are a stay-at-home Mom, you can meet other Moms while your kids run around there.

Hi J. -

I know your post is a couple months old so I am not sure if you have found a play group yet. My daughter is 5 months old and I am looking for other moms in the area to socialize with and to start having my daughter meet other kids. Let me know if you have found anything or we can start a group of our own. Thanks!
