Mountlake terrace has best swimming pool. They and Mill Creek parks and rec have mommy and me classes but don't know age cut off. Mill Creek library has baby story time every week. I know there are a lot of kindermusik classes around by neighborhood as well. I like parentmap.com and Seattleschild.com for lists of weekly activities.

I agree with Ann. Mountlake Terrace pool is the best. There is very easy access for someone holding a baby, just walk into ankle deep water and it gradually gets deeper. There's a fountain in the kiddie pool, and lots of toys for when baby gets a little older. I think there is childcare on site, but not sure at what age they start. We checked out a book called Bringing Out Baby from Sno Isle libraries, which was just full of info on where to take your tot. I'll get back to you later with some more mama info, one of my clients has a different book with all that info and more.
Have a great day.

Forest Park Pool in Everett has a wonderful pool facility that has floaties and life jackets for the little ones. I used to take my daughter there when she was little. It's cheap. I could afford to go every day.

I don't know about anything with swimming.. but, Steven's hospital (Edmonds) has baby groups every Friday at 11 - 1. Evergreen hospital has baby groups and so does Providence. I have been to all of them, so if you have questions, let me know. From those, I have formed friendships and also off-shoot baby groups have been created. Also, some libraries have story time (I've only heard about these, never been..) Let me know if you would like further info. I am a SAHM to Maggie, born Jan. 2
