I am part of a Moms group called Growing in Grace, we do playgroups in the summer, Moms Night Out and Fellowship Night. Moms Night out is coming up this week and is going to be at the Green Pea Pod in McHenry, it's this Wed. night at 7pm if you'd like to join us. Hi Chrisina. I have a play group at my home on Thursdays 9-11 your welcome to join us. Right now its only 4 of us moms but it is much larger in the summer! kids are all different ages from 1-5 now. I am part of a great moms group in the area called Mom-2-Mom. We have members in Algonquin, LITH, Crystal Lake, Huntley, Woodstock, Hampshire, Gilberts and more. We offer playgroups for all ages and have monthly kid parties and planned activities. We also have mom only events like bunco, book club, scrapbooking and moms night out. Not to be forgotten, the dads get out as well solo and as part of couples night. We also have a babysitting co-op. There is a great mom's Meetup group based in McHenry -- the URL is http://parents.meetup.com/63/. It's a wonderful bunch of women and kids, with activities for all kinds of interests -- both with kids and there are also outings just for moms. There's something going on almost every day of the week so it works for almost any sort of schedule. It's been great fun since I joined almost a year ago and I know the kids enjoy getting out and doing things with others as much as I have!
