There used to be an optometrist at the Northwesternedical Faculty Foundation named Dr. Carol Barron. I don't know if she works with children, but perhaps she would have a recommendation. However, by now you probably have found someone. If you try to reach Dr. Barron, please by all means let her know I referred you.

Dr. Zibute Zaparackas is wonderful pediatric opthatmologist located at 150 E. Huron Street. She is out of Children's and Northwestern. Two of my children had blocked tear ducts and she preformed the exam and surgery. Great doctor!!

Check out the optometry school clinic affiliated with IIT. My older son had severe disabilities and even though he couldn't talk, they were somehow able to "read" his eyesight and figure out what he needed.

Dr. Marilyn Mets at Children's Memorial is one of the most esteemed eye docs in her field. You will get state of the art care.
Don't go to Dr. Minou Colis, she is evil
We take our kids to Zibute Zaparakis at 150 E. Huron. She's an excellent pediatric opthalmalogist and is very patient with both my 17 month old and my 10 year old.
