I am looking for friends in my area for me (and my children if possible :) but would love just to have friends!). I movd up to Indianapolis with my husband in 2003 and have since lost all my friends but 1. The friend I have still, is too wild for me. I would love to find some friends! I am at home a lot and need someone to talk to, maybe even go out with! I love my husband and kids, I just need someone (or people) I can talk to and have me time with! I need a life again! LOL! There is no reason to be alone on the northside of Indy! There are >tons< of various mothers groups. MOMS, Mops and Mothers & More all have local chapters. Search on yahoo groups and you'll find several mommy groups located here in Indy. You'll want to check out several to find one that "fits" you but there's something for everyone. I've been an active member in one yahoo group for 2 years... weekly small playgroups, monthly (sometimes more often) Moms Night Out, book club, scrapbooking club, informal "kid swap" for babysitting, a big field trip once or twice a month (firestation, zoo, farm tour, pizza hut tour, etc) plus all the advice and support you could want via email.
