I moved from the San Francisco Bay area and have not been able to find a pediatrician as wonderful as the one we had...I was a bit disapointed with Meridian Pediatrics... I am looking for someone fun and easy going who will take the time to answer my questions and not make us feel rushed! Someone who loves what they do! Also, I am looking for a somewhat new office( i.e. digital scales, ect!).So, I am seeking a hip and happening female pediatrician! Thanks Moms!

Hip and happening? You do know you're in Indiana, right? Anyway, I use St. Vincent Pediatrics. They have 3 wonderful pediatricians (all female and mothers themselves). We personally go to Dr. Kellie Hughes. It's a hike from Fishers to the St. Vincent Women's hospital where they are located, but definitely worth it. They are actually in a new office too. There newborn scales are digital, but there big kid scales are not. I highly recommend Dr. Hughes. She has always gone above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to my children. Hope this helps.

We love Dr Jennifer Jones at Zionsville Pediatrics -
1650 West Oak Street, Zionsville

As a pediatric nurse myself, I appreciate Dr Jones' attentiveness to my boys. She definitely takes her time with us each visit, and includes the boys (only 3 yrs and 21 months)in her "questions." My son also sees a cardiologist for a congenital heart condition, and Dr. Jones is quick to follow-up on those appointments as well - even calling at home after a test he had to see how he had tolerated it.

We like our pediatrician, Dr. Anne K., who is located on the Northwest side of Indy at about 86th and Township Line Road next to St. Vincent's Women's Hospital. There number is ###-###-####. There are two other women in the practice. I would guess that all three of the doctors are in there 30s. You can call for a "meet and greet" to see if you and child(ren) like the doctor. I never feel rushed with any questions I have, you can call the nurses line if you have a quick question, and they get back to you if you need to call outside of office hours. Hope this helps. Good luck.

We really like Dr. Roe and Dr. Norris at Northpoint peds. We have 2 boys and so see Dr. Nanagas (male) but Dr. Roe was on call when I had the second and Dr. Norris was available when my older was sick one time. They were both happy to answer questions without making us feel rushed. Dr. Norris went out of her way to figure out what was wrong with my son who wasn't presenting with normal symptoms of anything (turned out to be early pneumonia - ack!!). Had it not been for her "I don't know but 18-month-olds don't grunt" thoughts, he may have gotten much worse before they realized what it was (no cough or congestion you'd expect). We also really like the CNPs. They are very friendly and helpful and include us in decisions about the boys.

We see Dr. Jennifer Hill-Birk at Geist Family Medicine. She is very energetic and on top of a lot of things. She may zip through an appointment but has no problem going through questions more than once. She has a really great personality and my son really likes her. They also have some Saturday hours which have come in handy for us. Our son has a rare medical condition and she is very attentive to him and his needs and keeps us in mind as new research comes up. I would think she does this with all of her patients, it just seems to be her personality. Good luck and welcome to Indy!
