Does anyone have a suggestion of where I can buy a maternity suit? I am looking for something fairly cheap because I probably wont wear it much. We are taking a vacation in 2 weeks and I just entered my 2nd trimester and dont fit into my current suit. I have checked a few places but everything is on clearance and there is not much left in the sizes. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks, B.

What can I do next?

Lands End (or Sears which carries Lands End now). The swim suits are well made and not too expensive. You might find one at Target too - it's just hard to find one in stock there.

B.,

I am assuming you are looking for a swim suit and not a business suit since you said "vacation". If it is a swimsuit, I wouldn't bother looking in maternity but instead just go up a couple of sizes in the regular or larger women's section. When I was pregnant with my first child and went to Hawaii in my 5th month I bought a swimsuit from the larger women's dept. I recall I had to go up a few sizes but you could always try them on at a dept store and figure out how big you need to go.

If you are refering to "swimsuits", try Gap or Old Nay online. They should still have something. You might not be big enough to fit into a meternity swimsuit yet. With Old Navy and Gap, you can return maternity clothes to their regular stores if something doesn't fit. They usually have free shipping if you order $100 or more. I used to order two of every size, so I could try everything on. I would then just return the suff that didn't fit and I didn't have to pay for shipping. If you are comfortable with your body, you could always try a regular bikini. If you meant a Business suit, I have no idea.
Good Luck,

Try craigslist.com for Minneapolis/St Paul. I used it to find a lady selling all her maternity clothes for $40. I don't have a suit, or I would let you borrow it, but there's usually a pretty good selection of maternity clothes on there. Check the baby section and the clothes section. Good luck!

I purchased my swimsuit (am now 5 months PG) at Target. They have some cute suits that are only $25-$35 and fit me at 4 months. They don't look too much like a maternity suit, they are pretty cute actually :) Also - Motherhood Maternity has all there summer stuff on sale right now, and I was in Rosedale earlier this week and saw they had all their swimsuits on sale.

Have you tried Fashion Bug or Old Navy? They both carry maternity clothes and suits in their stores now.

JCPenny and Old Navy are both good bets.
You can order online at either place.
Not all Old Navy's have maternity in the store, so make sure if you go to one that you call ahead to see.
I know the one at Mall of America does. This late in the season, I think you're safer ordering on line.
