Hello,
My husband had an affair and I have decided to try and work things out with him. He has agreed to go to counseling.
Can you recommend a good marriage counselor that is well versed or specializes in affairs and recovering from them.

I cannot recommend a good couselor off hand, but it would be a good thing to go to your church - if affiliated - and talk with a counselor there first. They can usually recommend someone good.

Hi J., I don't know where you live, but I know a counselor at Shield Bearer, in NW Houston, on Jones Road. It is faith based, and also offers a sliding scale if money is an issue. Here is their website, with their phone #, and address:

J. - I've got 2 avenues for you to try. 1 - Dr. Sergio Henao ###-###-#### is located Gessner at I-10. You pay then file your receipt w/your insurance.

Other than a referral from someone - you might want to check who your insurance carrier has on their provider list. Most medical insurance plans have several marriage counselors listed to choose from.
