i have 7 grown kids, live blessedly alone now on tinian, where i started and run the 'helping hands books and donation center' and am working on getting a shelter for abused women built, as there is none here...

i'm a professional writer and have done lots of legal writing, so if i can be of any help with writing appeals, letters, etc., just ask...

I'm a mamma of 4, and grandma to 8. I'm retired from government. Am a Micronesian (Ulithian/Palauan) and Caucacian. Have lived on Saipan on and off since 1963, and continuously since 1978. This is my home and is where I will be buried. I rent a place in San Antonio. I would like to help better our islands. Let me know how I can help.

I'm a proud single mother of a girl who will be 7 months soon. I am currently working for the Emergency Management Office, Office of the Governor. I love my Precious girl very much. I will stand up for my daughter, island and people. I am proud to say that my mom is Refalawash/Chuukese and my dad is Chamorro/Palau. I'm the second oldest of 3 kids. My mom also raised 2 boys who are still leaving with her and yes that makes us all 5 children.

I would like to be a part of the group that you are forming and please let me know what the agenda is for this group.

Good Day:

I am most interested in doing volunteer work. Especially in the field of rehabilitation. I have no social work experience but it is rewarding to me to follow in my Mom's footsteps.

I know there is a women's "refuge" center here in Saipan, but none in Rota or Tinian. I too would like to see that.

Also, I would like to push for a rehabilitation PROGRAM for the prisoners. I find that it is difficult for ANYONE who has family in there that is not being rehabilitated to return to society. More especially, those prisoners that have done something harmful to someone we know. *Their children and families suffer from the rejection of our community. Those persons may grow up in the same nature as their parents if not any better.

Hope this makes any sense.
