Try Shaklee it is wonderful. I use it and it makes my skin feel silky, smooth, and people say I look younger.

Hi Lori,
You may want to try Minerelles. It is a mineral makeup that goes on as liquid and then turns to powder, but does not feel like powder. It is so good for your skin you could actually sleep in it.
It is made by Shaklee Corporation, the number one seller of natural supplements. They have actually found a way to put vitamins into the skin, especially with their skin care line, Enfuselle. They have several patents on the products. They offer a 100% money-back guarantee on everything.
You can find these products at http://www.shaklee.net/healthforlife
Hope this helps!

I have had good success with Paula's Choice make-up--very good for the skin, no chemical additives or fragrance, does not add greasy burden causing break-outs, and is reasonably priced. You can order it and samples at www.paulaschoice.com.
I use her Barely There make-up mostly, since as I age (now 45), I have found that thicker make-up enhances the look of wrinkles, so thinner is better. But for spot treatments in more discolored areas, I use her Best Face forward make-up, which covers more.

I go to EyesLipsFace.com I just LOVE these guys. Their make up is only $1!! They go for quality, not quantity. I've never broken out in their makeup and I have eczema. They also have mineral makeup for a cheaper price and it covers up a lot better than I thought it would. :D Check it out. Their shipping is only $6.95. Which means you could order quite a bit. :D

Did you try hypoallergenic cosmetics on the internet or try one of the makeup counters at the mall.?

Hi Lori,

I am a licensed esthetician and I wholeheartedly suggest either Jane Iredale or Bella Donna makeup. Both are mineral makeups with ZInc Oxide which acts as an anti-inflammatory. You will not break out. It will not clog your pores yet it will give you ample coverage of a scar. Good luck. If you need a facial check me out at www.AmySkinCare.com . I use Eminence Organic Skin Care which is an organic line from Hungary.

The mineral make up from Costco is fantastic! $25 gets you foundation, blush/bronzer and eye shadows - new brushes included as well. You can buy the concealer separately and it's a mix of 3 colors so you can blend your "perfect shade". I was a Benefit and Yves St. Laurent user in the past and I'm completely converted. If you don't know, Costco rebrands items and this is rebranded "Borghese". I do not however recommend the mascara. I find it too clumpy.

I don't have any scars but I do have a brown forehead courtesy my pregnancy 2.5 years ago and it totally covers it up.

Best of luck to you!

I love bare minerals! Completely blendable and natural looking but works great for covering as well! You can use a smaller brush to do more cover up work on scars, etc. One lasts me months! And I get compliments on my skin all the time. My sister and most of our friends use it as well!

I use Neutrogena. They have a product that is actually supposed to help with blemishes too. I haven't had any issues with break outs from it. :) Great product and doesn't cost a fortune...
