I will be doing some volunteer work for some kids ages 5 and up, kind of like toys for tots. where can i rent or buy an elf costume or what my boss aksing for is: I thinking more of a white blouse,green or red vest, black pants, red santa cap, blk pumps

I was also going to suggest OTC! I love them, seriously. I bought a candy corn costume from them 2 years ago and I love it. It has held up well, it's pretty well made considering the price and it looks cute. For the price, I think it's worth buying and then seeing how you like it. I would also suggest going to Party City, they probably have some similar stuff. They might not have it in stores yet, but look online first.
Oriental Trading has elf costumes for $15. They look a L. like jester costumes but they're worth checking out.
