Thanks to all the mom's that responded. Sorry I wasn't able to respond to each one. I finally found his pants at JC Penney's. Funny, they weren't there when I checked a few weeks ago. The shirt and Shoes at Burlington. A lot of the stores mentioned unfortunately didn't have dress clothes this time of year. Another problem was they went up to size 24 months, and didn't carry anything again until complete outfits for 4T.

Thanks again!

Thanks!

Have you tried Once Upon A Child. I know it is a used store and all, but I have found some great stuff. Dress clothes do not get worn that often and you may be able to find some.

Good Luck

Believe it or not I found all my sons Christmas outfits at Walmart. I have a 6 year old, 3 year old and 1 year old with twins on the way so as you can see Walmart was my best solution. They looked so handsome too.

I do not know what area you live in, but there is a resale shop called Just Like New in Crown Point that sells clothes for cheaper than new, yet, the clothes are just like new. That is usually where I buy my 2 younger boys' clothes because I hate spending the money on new to only have them outgrow them in a month or 2.

Hope this helps!

I buy most of my children's clothes at Kohl's. Old Navy might have some nice dress shirts/pants that's at a reasonable price. Or Children's Place.

try The Children's Place. They have very fair prices and their clothing sizes are realistic for the childs age and size. Otherwise I would check out Value City.

I absolutely love Old Navy and Gap! I think I've found most of my son's dress/church clothes there! They have excellant sales also. If you don't have one in your area the websites have great shipping deals as well! happy shopping!!

I actually once found a really cute outfit for my then 18 month old at Walmart. He wore it to a wedding. It was a pair of khaki's, a nice dress shirt, and a little sweater vest.

If you don't mind gently used -- there are Once Upon A Child stores in Naperville, Downers Grove and Bolingbrook which sells gently used clothing for a very reasonable price.

You've already been given many of the stores we've had success with, but I will add JC Penney as another option.

We get a lot of our sons clothes at The Childrens Place at the outlet in Aurora. Good Buys for kids clothes at most of the Kids stores.

I have not had good luck at Burlington. The one sweater that I got there was very big and odd shaped.

My best luck has been at The Children's Place! Good buys, and very cute clothes! Since it's not around a holiday you might not find very much, though. For Ester, I got my 2 year old the cutest little linen pants, and dress shirt as well as some polos and a short sleeve sweater.

Old Navy might have a couple of things as well.

Good luck!

Try H&M. I bought my son a suit there for $25! They have a pretty good selection of dressy stuff and you can't beat the prices.

Sometimes TJMaxx or Marshalls will have dress clothes for a good price. It's a hit or miss depending on their shipments. ebay is a good place to look too.
