Looking to Change Daycare

We are looking for a new Daycare. We only need 1 to 2 days a week typically.

Our little guy is 18 months old and we would like to see him with more children. He has only been with one daycare and it was in a home. The daycare closed and she still takes care of him, but with only one other child. We are looking for a quality place to avoid any nightmares.

We are located at 696/Woodward area.

Any suggestions?

Wow, thank you so much for the input. I really appreciate the help. It's a bit stressful trying to figure this out.

T.,

Where are you located? My son goes to a lady in Royal Oak who is phenomenal with kids. The only con is that she doesn't provide day care on Fridays.

Hi T.,

I'm not sure what area you are in, but my son attends an in home daycare in Redford and I absolutely LOVE it. He will be one year in 2 1/2 weeks and there are 2 other boys there is age along with some other older kids. The woman that runs it is awesome and she has two assistants as well. I started taking my son there after he became the only infant at his former daycare when he was about 4 months and I couldn't be happier about my decision. If you would like the information, please feel free to contact me. As far as the rates...I pay 145 a week but since you would only need a couple of days, I do believe it would be considerably less.

Good luck,
M.

My son started at Harmony Montessori (Oak Park) when he was 18 months. He attended until he was 5 years old. I couldn't speak highly enough about the teachers and the environment.

Here's their website:

Tell them I said hello!

Mamasource covers a huge area, so to suggest a place we need to know where you are :)
We use to send my daughter to Meadowbank in Riverview/Brownstown and we absolutely loved it there! My daughter still says how much she missed it!
Not the one in Lincoln Park....i looked at that one and didn't like that one!
Good Luck!
