Looking for the Best Ob/Gyn and Hospital

We are recently pregnant with our 3rd. For my first 2, I delivered at Banner Desert and my Ob/Gyn was located near there as well. Now we are in Queen Creek and I would like to find a closer doctor and hospital. I strongly prefer female ob/gyns. Can anyone recommend theirs? Doesn't have to be in Queen Creek, but the closer the better. Also, does anyone have experience delivering at Banner Gateway or Banner Baywood? Or are there any other closer hospitals to deliver at? I'd appreciate hearing whatever anyone has experienced. Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks for all the great information. Based on the responses and checking with my insurance, I'm going to try Valley Women for Women. Thanks, everyone!

Kathy,

Congrats, on the new addition... I am expecting #3 in just a couple months and went to see 3 different doctors before deciding on Valley Women for Women. Dr. Adams is my fav, she is fantastic, non-judgemental and just an all around nice lady. All of the other Doc's are nice as well.

I had a horrible experience with Goodman and Partirage (spelling?) when I had my 3 year old. If you strongly prefer a woman Ob then select an office like Valley Woman for woman. Because they are ALL women, no doubt that if you go into labor at any time you will have a female Dr. Plus they deliever at Mercy Gilbert. Which is a great hospital our friends just had a baby their last week and the facility is beautiful.

Best of luck!

C.

Congrats on the baby on the way! We just moved here less than a year ago and am now 22 weeks pregnant. I heard great things about Valley Women for Women and also Dr. Goodman & Partridge (http://azmomdocs.com/). I am going to Dr. Goodman & Partridge, they are all women in the office. I go to the one located in Gilbert, up by Power & Ray by the ER.

Best of luck to you!

I LOVE my OB (Susan Kudlinksi) at Comprehensive Women's Health, at Gilbert/Guadalupe who now delivers at Banner Gateway which is amazing! I have a 3 month old and went to Gateway, although I did not deliver there as the baby came so fast that I my husband delivered in our bathroom with 911 on the phone. BUT I delivered my placenta there and had to stay one night. Staff was friendly and attentive and it is REALLY nice and new. My hubby loved it, too, b/c we had a nice big room and he had an actual couch to sleep on that became more like a bed, and not just a chair. Hope this helps...

I live in QC too and I go to Dr. Lori McNeil ###-###-#### - off of Higley and Baseline. She is great so far. I am due next week with my second and will be delivering at Banner Gateway. We'll see how she is with the delivery, but she's been great through all of my appointments! We took a tour of Gateway and it is SO nice. I have a couple of friends/neighbors who have recently delivered there and said they absolutely loved it. I guess I'll have a better idea next week. Good luck!

Just an update in case anyone is looking at this via the archives. I recently had my second child with Dr. McNeal and had some complications after my child was born (heart problems), and as a result, I would no longer recommend Dr. McNeal based on the care (or lack thereof) that I received. Feel free to contact me privately if you have any questions.

Congratulations! I absolutely love Dr. Christine Brass-Jones at The Center for True Harmony & Wellness. Her practice is located off Baseline & Arizona Ave. in Gilbert and their phone number is ###-###-####. Here is a link to the website:

She only practices at Banner Gateway and we delivered there in August with our second child and were blown away (Our first experience was not this great by any means). The hospital is fantastic and especially the Labor/Delivery & Postpartum area. The couches in the postpartum room pull out into a bed (for the hubbies/partners)and the food is fantastic - the best part is you order off a menu!!!!! Yummy!!! You can order as much as you want as well!!!! I cannot recommend my OB and this hospital enough - good luck!! ;)

I suggest her to everyone I meet. I am also in Queen Creek. She delievers at Mercy and CHandler. I just found out I am pregnant again after a miscarriage this summer. I didnt hesitate to call her back to see her again! The number is ###-###-####.

I had my worst experience at Dr. Christine Brass-Jones' office. I always had to wait at least 30 minutes for every appointment. Her office staff is not friendly and extremely unprofessional. They didn't bill my insurance ontime so I had to pay for my annual exam out of pocket. I could go on and on. I went there for 2 years and I will never set foot in that office again!
