Looking for Preschools - Brunswick,OH

I had my 3yr old daughter enrolled at Harmony Preschool (at the Holy Trinity Church on Pearl Rd in Brunswick) last fall and it was okay.............however b/c we purchased a home in Medina, we transferred her to Hobby Horse Preschool here in Medina near the square and absolutely LOVE it. She comes home talking about all that she learned and different little experiences that she had while there that day come up even long after that day. The price is about the same - Hobby Horse offers a discount if you can pay the whole or 1/2 year in full. The people at Harmony are great - however the curriculum and structure at Hobby Horse seems to be better and the people are still great.

I have had a great experience at Stepping Stones Preschool with my two girls. They have 3/4 year old program T/R morning or afternoon. And a older4/late5 year old kindergarten prep program on MWF mornings or afternoons. As a teacher myself with your son having a fall birthday I would strongly suggest the T/R program next year and then the MWF program the next year. He will be in great shape for kindergarten rather than always playing catch up. Best of luck!

I'd suggest checking out the website for the National Assoc for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). You can check out their philosophy and search by zipcode. Our son's wonderful preschool in New Orleans was NAEYC-accredited and I looked for one when we came up here. Helped me narrow down which ones to visit. We found a lovely one...
