Looking for quality,affordable preschool. We are just moving to SW Allen/Murray area. Caden just turned 4 and needs to start preschool. I am looking for something maybe 2 1/2 days a week or so, any ideas? Thank you
I LOVED Learning Years Day School in Beaverton. They were excellent and they offer part week schedules, something that many daycares around here don't do. Their number is ###-###-####. They are over by Cedar Hills Crossing - Jenkins and Cedar Hills area. I know that that isn't exactly RIGHT IN your neighborhood, but it isn't far and is VERY WELL worth it.
Hi, if you'd be open to a co-op and SW Portland, I'd like to recommend Burlingame Cooperative Preschool. My oldest just finished two years there and my youngest will start this fall. It's been around since 1958, has a wonderful teacher of over 20 years and has exceeded all my expectations. There is space for a 4 year old, for 3 days a week. (m-w-f, from 9am to 12noon). Very close to Allen and Murray is the Beaverton Christian Preschool at the Beaverton Christian Church (Menlo and Allen). Both of my kids went there and love it. The 4's program is Tuesday/Wed/Thursday AM or PM, approx. $120/month. Very loving and supportive teachers and great curriculum. Good luck!
We LOVE Metzger Community Preschool (www.metzgerpreschool.com). It is a co-op preschool so the parents are very involved. We have built a wonderful community of people who really care for our children's education and preschool experience. And we have the most fantastic teacher! We live in the same area you do (Hart and Murray) and it is worth the drive over there. It is on Locust near Washington Square Too.
