I am a part time school social worker with two little girls ages 12 months and almost 4. We are looking for an existing playgroup to join (on Tues. or Thurs) or for other moms and kids who are looking for company.

I wanted to let you know that I co-host a playgroup during the summer. My other 2 co-hosts live in New Lenox. We are a group of school psychologists, social workers, special education teachers, and a couple speech therapists. You would fit right in with us. Kids range in age from 16-months to 8 years old and everything in between. I usually send out a playgroup letter in May listing where and when. We meet weekly usually on Wednesdays starting the 2nd-3rd week of June. If you're interested email me your address and I'll add you to our list. We'd love to have you. I have a 10 month old little girl and I would like to find other children for her to socialize with. We live in the Mokena area. (191st & Lagrange) I'm not sure I would have the flexibility to do a structured play group but I would definitely be open to meeting when it's mutually convienant to give our girls some play time. I work from home Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays but I am often able to work in an hour or two off during one of those days from time to time. We are one of the first in our social circle to have kids and it's been difficult meeting other Mom's and kids.
